Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest

The Nevada Division of Forestry does not issue permits for wood cutting. Wood sales are offered to the public by the US Forest Service (USFS) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Contact these federal agencies about areas available for wood cutting on lands under their jurisdiction.

For commercial harvesting of Christmas trees on private lands, please call Nevada Division of Forestry at (775) 684-2500 and ask to speak with a Resource Management Officer.
