The West Las Vegas Library is a gathering place for the community. It features the African American Special Collection consisting of specialized materials by and about African Americans, and the Library District's first dedicated Homework Help Center. The 1,540-square-foot Center adjacent to the Young People's Library offers core print and electronic materials for students K-12 with a 20-seat dedicated homework help computer lab. Tutoring services are offered during the school year. The branch also offers free wireless Internet access and houses a 298-seat theatre.
