About Us

Come celebrate with us at this regional festival featuring all things lavender & honey including event-themed foods, arts & crafts, music education and even a signature beer. Celebrating the best of local farms, local food, independent businesses and the beauty of the Sierra Nevada.

The festival has its roots in a community college where for more than a decade Western Nevada College Specialty Crop Institute has hosted training workshops for farmers including lavender and honey producers. They all had a vision – a lavender & honey festival to celebrate local agriculture – and that vision came to life in 2017!

Join us for a weekend of events, and discover all the benefits of local agriculture – from colorful, aromatic plants and rich honey to artisan products and specialty foods like honey beer and lavender bread from Great Basin Brewing Company.
