If Nevadans know one thing, it’s how to celebrate! If you can’t be in the Big Apple for New Year’s Eve, then the next best place (or maybe even the first best place) is most certainly Nevada. Check out these top eight family-friendly New Year’s Eve events in Nevada for a night to remember!

2. Magical Forest, Las Vegas, NV

Opportunity Village, one of Las Vegas’ most prominent charities, is hosting a “Magical Forest” event from the Friday after Thanksgiving all the way up through New Year’s Eve. Bring the entire family to experience a “winter wonderland with millions of sparkling lights.”

3. New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Green Valley Public Library, Henderson, NV

Held on Dec. 30, children ages 3-11 are welcome to celebrate the New Year with crafts, stories, and sparkling cider. This is the perfect event for younger kids who want to get into the holiday spirit without going overboard. Many other libraries around the state have similar events.
